· Was John at low age married to someone before Harry born or was Harry born to someone out-of-wedlock?

· Why Middlesex ???

· And did this John then later marry Tabitha at age 24 (and lived on till 1935, not dying before 1907…..)

· The fact that Harry appears as nephew to Lavinia, John’s sister, seems to point conclusively to Harry being descended from George

He took over the village blacksmith’s business at Thruxton. He lived at the Old Forge and when David retired, his son Ernest took over the business and ran it from Forge Cottage, next to Robin's Roost. The houses still exist.
